Our favourite west coast space rock band “Woolfy vs. Projections”, or “the Hall and Oates of the dance world” (XLR8R) are back for good. “Set Me Loose” is the first single from their 2012 album “The Return Of Love” , which with its proper songwriting, dreamy atmosphere and psychedelic character became an essential listening delight for all kind of Balearic types over the past summer. “Set Me Loose” is the perfect example for W vs. P unique blend of electronic and acoustic instrumentation and the natural haziness that lives in their music. This makes it a perfect match for Swiss legend Lexx (you have to check out his contribution to the ‘ originals ‘ series on Claremont 56), who offers the first remix here. Lexx does what Lexx does best adding a good portion of Excotica, tropical drumming and a certain dubbyness to the original making it a winner on the late night floor.
